2. Purpose
This notice governs the use of the website hmilibrary.com and its associated services. HMI Library is a subscription service (SaaS) offering a library of industrial symbols compliant with the ISA-101 and ISA-5.1 standards, downloadable as PNG and SVG, intended for use in HMI / SCADA systems.
3. Conditions of use
Access to this website is free in its demo mode, except for the user's own telecommunications connection cost. Paid plans (Starter, Studio, Enterprise) are available after subscribing.
The user agrees to:
- Use the services lawfully, in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Not perform activities that damage, disable or overload the site's infrastructure.
- Not use the downloaded symbols to create a competing service (reselling the library as a block). Commercial use within your own or your clients' HMI projects is permitted on paid plans.
4. Intellectual property
All website content (text, graphics, symbols, source code, design) is owned by HMI Library or its licensors and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual property law.
Downloads on paid plans include a perpetual commercial licence to use the downloaded symbols within the customer's projects (the subscriber's or their end clients'). Redistribution, resale or inclusion in third-party libraries is not permitted without a prior OEM agreement.
The ISA-101.01 and ISA-5.1 standards are property of the International Society of Automation (ISA). HMI Library is not affiliated with ISA — the standard is referenced descriptively to indicate the compliance of the symbols provided.
5. Limitation of liability
The symbols supplied are designed in accordance with industry standards but do not replace the professional judgement of the control engineer. Final responsibility for the safe design and operation of the HMI/SCADA system rests with the integrator or end user.
HMI Library is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the downloaded symbols, within the limits permitted by applicable law.
6. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is governed by our Cookie Policy.
7. Changes
HMI Library reserves the right to modify the content of this legal notice at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the update date.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from use of the website, the parties submit to the courts of the consumer's domicile where applicable, or otherwise to those of the owner's domicile.
