Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information (such as your chosen language) or keep you signed in. At HMI Library we use only what is strictly necessary — no advertising, no third-party analytics, no profiling.

We do not use marketing cookies, third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) or profiling. Because we only set strictly-necessary and functional storage, no consent banner is legally required under the ePrivacy Directive / GDPR. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your explicit consent first.
Third-party cookies during checkout
When you proceed to payment we redirect you to Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on its domain (stripe.com) to process the payment, prevent fraud and comply with PSD2/SCA. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
How to manage cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that if you block strictly-necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in or use account features. Preferences (language, etc.) will then only last for the current session.
